Participatory Exhibit & Urban Spatial Design Workshop
Cookbook of space transformer
Questioning and reimagining the city and how we relate to the others.
The artist or designer learns to approach each project critically, examining it through multiple lenses. The design processes developed by artists around the world offer valuable paradigms for addressing challenges and exploring them creatively. The diverse perspectives that emerge from what is often referred to as art thinking can reframe the meaning of a place, embodying or deliberately disrupting its expected values through different forms, ranging from functional design to critical, surreal, or poetic installations.
We propose a “cookbook”, a curated collection of creative tools drawn from different fields, such as game design principles or the synesthetic use of rhetorical figures, and an exploration of how these tools can be applied within the urban environment.
The practical component of the workshop invites participants to prototype their urban interventions using multiple paper models that represent key areas of the cityscape.
