Pas de Deux Serie

Pas de Deux is a serie of interactive art creations that explore and experiment with electronic literature, with a clear scope on communication and empathy.

Pas de Deux - Das Ende

(2025)

The third episode of the Pas De Deux serie has been developed in collaboration with spanish writer Paula Tudela. Starting from her book Das Ende we developed different scenes to be explored by two players that follows the plot of the story.

The mean of interaction is players’ hands that get tracked via tablets camera. With theyr hands they can explore the scenes, control events, paint and modulate audio, while discovering the main story.

We creafted 6 different scenes selecting narrative moments from the book. We designed different scenarios where the environment, the interaction and the language would talk about one of these moments.

Pas de Deux - Collection

(2023)

In the second output on the investigation, the two playersfind themselves browsing a collection of narrative-centered scenes made of text, sound and images. Every scene has a unique way of being explored. The tone is set by short written paragraphs by different writers, brought to life through interactivity (with the scene and between the players) and audiovisual elements, designed to reinforce the theme of the work of written narrative.

Pas de Deux I

(2020)

While being one of our early projects, with its rough corners, the first version perfectly captures our commitment to embracing digital art as a mean of sensually and emotionally enhancing communication. What initially seems as a regular ebook slowly reveals a shared universe of images, sounds and interactions, emerging and dancing with the written words.

This is a meta-narration about the relationship between two human beings and the empathy and connection that is born through reading together.
