Museo dei Saperi is a huge project for preserving and disclosing thousands of late renaissance illustrations from the personal library of Duke Francesco Maria II della Rovere.
In the scope of a permanent exhibition of some of these illustration, we designed and developed an installation to allow vistor to navigate freely in a universe of illustrations.
We had to preserve the original seixteenth century meaningfull division, using an approach similar to data-art, to show visitors which categories were fuller and therefore what were the cultural interests of the time.
